I had the absolute privilege a few weeks ago of visiting Bowlin Family Farm in De Soto, Kansas, and it was exactly the refreshing experience I needed. From the moment I arrived, the warm, friendly atmosphere made me feel right at home. I picked up beautiful fresh produce for my kitchen and selected several healthy plants for my garden—everything was vibrant, high-quality, and clearly grown with care. What sets this family farm apart is their commitment to true local, homegrown produce. Not only do they offer outstanding produce, but they also make delicious jelly and hot sauce right on the farm. It’s wonderful to support a hardworking family business that values quality and community over mass production. Bowlin Family Farm is the perfect peaceful retreat when life feels hectic. The setting is calm and inviting—ideal for a solo visit to recharge or a family outing to teach children how real food is grown from seed to table. If you’re looking for authentic, locally grown goodness and a genuine connection to where your food comes from, this is the place to go. Highly recommend! We’ll definitely be back again and again. 🌱🥕🍅 Thank you, Bowlin Family Farm, for all that you do! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My neighbor and I filled a truck bed full! The flowers are so beautiful and the fullest I have seen. Definitely worth the trip

This place is great for Halloween pumpkins. We went to KC Wine Co only to find out it was $100+ entry fee for two adults and two children. Turned around and came to Bowlin. Fed goats and took a hay ride for free. Only cost was the pumpkins which were very reasonably priced.

Very sad visit on Saturday morning. Bought 1 cantaloupe, 1 small watermelon, 7 tomatoes & 3 peaches. Cost was $25 and the peaches and tomatoes were from Price Chopper. Very disappointed, won't ever go back. Will share info with friends. Also bought a large mum for $25, large mum from Price Chopper was $20.
